But if you’ve got last-minute plans, we suggest that you pick up a fresh bird and get cooking immediately. If you want to purchase ahead of time and if you have the extra storage space, then a frozen turkey is a good choice – but don’t forget to put aside the time to thaw the bird before the big day.
