Paprika Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp finely grated lemon zest 15 mL
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika 5 mL
  • 1/2 tsp pepper 2 mL
  • 2 tbsp olive oil 30 mL
  • 16 frozen, uncooked Extra Large Freshwater Shrimp (approx. one 340g bag), thawed, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 tsp salt 2 mL

Directions

  • Step 1

    In a bowl, combine lemon zest, garlic, paprika, pepper, 1 tbsp (15 mL) olive oil and shrimp. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 1 hour.

  • Step 2

    Heat remaining 1 tbsp (15 mL) oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season shrimp with salt and sauté until cooked through, 1 to 2 min. per side.
