Ingredients

2 cups
fresh cherries, pitted and roughly chopped
1⁄4 cup
red onion, finely chopped
1
jalapeno, finely minced
2 tbsp
lime juice
2 tbsp
cilantro, chopped
1⁄2 tsp
sugar

Directions

Step 1

Combine the diced cherries, onion and jalapeno in a bowl.

Step 2

Add lime juice, cilantro and sugar and stir. If the cherries are tart, use less lime juice and a touch more sugar. If your cherries are sweet, use the full amount of lime juice and only a touch of sugar. Season with salt and pepper and stir.

Step 3

Chill for one hour or until chilled.
