Compliments Smash Burgers

Tortilla Chips
240 g
2 cups
grated Medium Cheddar Cheese
500 ml
1 cup
grated Monterey Jack Cheese
250 ml
2 cups
finely shredded iceberg lettuce
500 ml
Compliments Burger Sauce, for drizzling
1⁄2 cup
finely diced white onion
125 ml

dill pickles, thinly sliced
1 tbsp
toasted sesame seeds
15 ml

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a clean, oiled grill to medium-high.

Step 2

Grill burger patties from frozen, with the lid closed, 5 to 7 min per side or until burgers reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). Set aside.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).

Step 4

Spread half of tortilla chips over a large, rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment. Top with half of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses. Roughly chop burgers into 1/2-inch pieces, then scatter half over top. Repeat a second layer with remaining cheeses and burgers. Bake until the cheese is melted, about 10 min.
